Low Fatt Group of Companies is a multi-generational organization began with a vision from the late Mr. Low Fat, who founded Kilang Papan Low Fat Sdn Bhd in 1970. His deep knowledge of timber and strong work ethic laid the groundwork for a thriving enterprise. Today Low Fatt Group, under the leadership of Tan Sri Dato’ Low Kian Chuan, we have evolved into an industry leader with over 30 acres of state-of-the-art facilities, exporting to over 30 countries.
Executive Chairman Tan Sri Dato’ Low Kian Chuan leads the family business personally, who also served as President of Malaysian Wood Industries Association (2005-2017), Chairman of Malaysian Timber Council (2018-2020), President of Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM) (2021-2024)
Our vertically integrated operations span from upstream timber extraction from sustainably managed forests, midstream operations in sawmill and treatment facilities, to downstream production with advanced machinery. This end-to-end capability ensures reliable raw material supply and production, allows us to deliver a comprehensive range of products, including Kiln Dried Sawntimbers, Wood Mouldings, Deckings, Engineering Wood Products, and Furniture.
Our advanced machinery and equipment efficiently extract and deliver logs from legally sourced and sustainably managed forests to our processing plants, ensuring responsible resource use.
We operate a fully equipped sawmill with a 1,500m³ monthly production capacity, alongside two timber pressure treatment facilities and ten automated kiln dry chambers. This setup guarantees a consistent supply of high-quality raw materials for downstream production.
Our production line is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, including moulders, precision equipment, automatic disc spraying, custom tooling, rotary composers, and finger-joint machines. This ensures maximum efficiency and delivers top-quality products to meet the highest standards of our buyers.
